Beatrice Mancini
Born in Este, Beatrice lives in Verona until 2004, when she moves to Milan and then to Padua. In 2000 she graduates in Classic Literature and in 2007 she attends a Master of Photography and Visual Design in Milan. In 2011 she is selected for the campaign Milano è Bellissima. From 2010 to 2014 her works are exhibited at Belvedere Gallery in Milan. In 2011 Beatrice wins the Portfolio Italia award with her work Love Camping – Apologia dello stanziale together with Paola Fiorini. In February 2012 her works are exhibited in Milan, Orvieto, Rome and Padua at the collective exhibition Volontariamente. In 2012 she is the finalist of the Ponchielli award. In 2015 Beatrice takes part in a project in Bangladesh, which becomes an exhibition called Princess of Waterland in Venice, Milan, Florence, Valdagno, Padua, Udine and Verona. During BookCity 2017 she exhibits the photography book Il respiro di Poveglia, made in collaboration with journalist Christian Elia, at Franco Parenti theatre. Beatrice’s works appear on Italian and foreign magazines such as GEO, D-La Repubblica, Sportweek, Emergency, L’Europeo, Focus Storia, Focus, Gioia, Il Venerdì di Repubblica, Famiglia Cristiana, GQ, Corriere della Sera, La Stampa, Il Giorno, Famiglia Cristiana, Cartier Art, Telegraph Magazine.
